Fitness and Wellness Retreat Enasoit Camp, Laikipia 4th to 7th November

The Fitness Retreat has been designed to give you the break you need to to nourish, nurture and inspire your body, mind and spirit. It is a kick start to help you start, or maintain, a balanced, healthy lifestyle and a great way to relax and meet new people. You’ll be encouraged to put away your devices as much as possible and allow for a digital detox too. 

During the retreat, you’ll learn more about the positive way healthy food affects your health, energy levels, mood and body. The recipes you will enjoy during your stay have been devised to be clean and simple so you can continue using these healthy eating tips and sustain your fitness plan after you return home.

Price: 25,000KSH per person sharing per night for a minimum of 3 nights

The Personal Trainer – Gabriella Fox

Gabriella Fox is a qualified personal trainer, manager and coach at Dojo Wellness Club in Karen, Nairobi. She specialises in weight training, and teaches small group strength classes at Dojo. Her passion is teaching men and women how to be the strongest, healthiest, happiest version of themselves.

Enasoit Camp, Laikipia

Enasoit Camp is a small, luxury tented camp in Laikipia which can accommodate up to 16 guests and is the ideal location to relax, rebalance and rejuvenate in a peaceful, healing environment. The only guests staying in the camp and conservancy will be those taking part in the fitness retreat. One of the most distinctive features of Enasoit Camp is the extraordinary wildlife activity at the waterhole just in front of the camp mess tent.  

Serenity Spa

Serenity Spa opened its doors to Nairobi’s spa lovers in 2013 with the aim of refreshing, rejuvenating and rebalancing its customers. With a team of highly trained therapists and top-quality products, Serenity maintains the standards of a world-class spa offering premiere wellness and holistic services to its clients.

3 – 6pm – Serenity spa treatments (clients can choose from a one hour facial, massage, reflexology or exfoliating treatment)
4pm Bush walk / bush jog
5pm Game drive
7pm Dinner and discussion on personal fitness goals

Friday 5th November

8am – Cardio/core workout
9am Breakfast
9am – 5pm – Serenity spa treatments (clients can choose from a one hour facial, massage, reflexology or exfoliating treatment)
1pm – Lunch by the pool
2- 4pm –  Relaxation / swim
3.30pm – Stretch and mobility
4pm – 5pm – Bush walk / bush jog
5pm – Game drive and sundowner
7pm – Healthy dinner

Saturday 6th November

8am – Body Sculpt class
9am Breakfast
9am – 5pm – Serenity Spa treatments (clients can choose from a one hour facial, massage, reflexology or exfoliating treatment)
1pm – Lunch by the pool
2- 3.30pm –  Relaxation / swim
3.30pm – Stretch and mobility
4pm – 5pm – Bush walk / bush jog
5pm – Game drive and sundowner
7pm –  Healthy bush dinner
8pm –  PT discussion on maintaining fitness goals

Sunday 7th

8am – Pilates class
9am Breakfast

FAQs

1. What is included in the rate?
All activities mentioned in the programme including all group exercise sessions, a one hour Serenity Spa treatment per day, use of the swimming pool, game drives, bush walks/runs, all meals and drinks (excluding alcoholic drinks).

2. How long does the retreat last for?
The programme is based on a three-night stay and clients are required to stay for the whole of the programme to get the full benefits of the retreat.

3. What will I be eating over the course of the weekend?
You can expect delicious and nutritionally balanced meals throughout your whole stay.

4. Do I have to be fit to attend?
No, the personal trainer will offer different levels of exercises for all fitness ranges.

5. Do I have to stick to the programme?
No. However, we would encourage clients to partake in all of the activities to achieve    the maximum results.

6. Can I do extra private fitness classes over the course of the weekend?
Yes. Gabriella is available for one to ones for an extra cost of 2000KSH per hour. These can be arranged at the point of booking or once you are on the retreat.

7. If I do not want to share with someone else what is the cost?
The cost for a single person not sharing with anyone else is 40,000KSH per night.

8. How do I maintain my fitness goals after the retreat?
During the retreat, Gabriella will advise on tips on how to maintain your fitness goals and can tailor make a specific personal training program for individual clients to follow after the event (for an extra cost).
